Every country page offers a free sample of each of the four files. You do not need an account and you do not need to pay.
What is in a sample
- 100 rows drawn from across the full file, plus the header row
- The exact columns of the paid file for that country
- The same formatting and the same spelling as the paid file
When a country has fewer than 100 rows for a file, the sample contains the whole file. When a file has a header but no data, the sample comes back with the header only: that means this level of detail is not available for that country.
How to get one
Open the country page on our website and click the download link under the file you are interested in (Regions, Locations, Streets or Addresses). The sample opens in Excel.
Samples for a continent or for the World
Continent pages and the World page offer the same thing at their own scale: one sample archive per file type, holding the sample of every country in that zone.
If you need more than a sample
If 100 rows are not enough to validate your project, or if you need a sample built on a specific region or city, ask for an agent in the chat, or write to us. We can prepare a targeted extract for you.
Before a large order
If you have any doubt or any question before buying, contact our support first. And when you plan to buy many countries, we recommend starting with a single country: it lets you check the quality of the data on a real file before committing to the rest.
